Mail Delivery Will Possibly Only Occur 5 Days a Week
Interesting idea, huh? Mail has been coming 6 days a week for as long as I remember. This proposal could change all of that. I read about this on my local News Channel’s website, WKTV.com. While asking around, I have heard quite a few different opinions on the subject. For you, my readers, I have a few questions that you can answer in the comments section:
- Do you think it is a good idea for the Post Office to cut a day of delivery?
- Which day should go and why?
- What kind of things do you think have contributed to the economic hardships of the Post Office?
- What are some other ideas that could help them save/make money?

That’d be just weird if they cut a day out. Saturday would make the most sense to cut out, though, on the other hand, it’s probably one of the only days full-time workers have to actually sit down and read/send out mail? I think that the internet has really cut back the Post Office’s position, e-mail is quicker, more efficient, and free…things that are high on the priority list now days.

Personally, I hate sitting down on my only quite day to do mail, but that’s just me!
I wonder if there are ways that the Post Office could use modern technology to cut back costs instead of letting it hurt them.
